SHOWDOWN MONEY DISCUSSION Here’s what I was planning on using the money for, and clearing up some misconceptions: The current payment system: Your 6 core guys pay $40, alternates would be $10/week (up to $40) Out of that $40: $14 goes towards a trophy (or multiple trophies). I was planning on using the stats I keep to give out ~25% of y’all trophies, and using the bulk of that on one huge, Stanley Cup type trophy that each winning team could have their name engraved on, which would last years. $10 goes to making a bad-ass dri-fit shirt. $10 goes to a players party - which could be an exclusive putting league night with beer tickets. $6 goes to the club for insurance for the event ($1/week per player). I want to try something CRAZY… If this isn’t how you want the money spent, let’s have a civil (and realistic) conversation of how much it should be, and where the money goes.
