SIERRA MADRE POLICE BLOTTER OCTOBER 26th, 2014 TO NOVEMBER 1ST, 2014 During the week of Sunday, October 26th, to Sunday, November 2nd, the Sierra Madre Police Department responded to approximately 355 calls for service. Sunday, October 26, 2014 At 9:21 pm, Sierra Madre Police responded to the 400 block of Auburn Ln. regarding a theft report of miscellaneous items. Reporting party states that the incident occurred sometime between 10-14-14 at 0300 hours and 10-25-14 at 1900 hours. The total loss value is $47.99. Monday, October 27, 2014 At 8:02 pm, Sierra Madre Police responded to 00 block of Suffolk regarding a found wallet. Reporting party stated they found a wallet with miscellaneous items inside in the area of Sierra Madre and Baldwin Av. Tuesday, October 28, 2014 At 3:45 pm, Sierra Madre Police responded to the 300 block of Toyon regarding theft of Pumpkins. Two suspects exited a vehicle and stole three pumpkins worth $15.00 each and then fled. The crime was captured on home surveillance camera. Vehicle appeared to be a 2012-2015 Toyota Yaris unknown color. Wednesday October 29, 2014 At 12:15 pm, Sierra Madre Police responded to a disturbance call in the 200 block of Mountain Trail. Sierra Madre Police arrived and spoke to one half of the parties who stated she was in altercation with her boyfriend. No physical injuries were seen and the male half left the location prior to arrival. Friday October 31, 2014 At 5:00 pm, Sierra Madre Police assisted in the Halloween event in the 00 block of East Alegria. Approximately 3000 people attended this Halloween event. Halloween festivities lasted until 11:00 pm. No incidents to report on this event, it was quite a success. Saturday November 1, 2014 At 4:04 pm Sierra Madre Police Department responded to the 00 block of N. Baldwin Ave regarding a traffic collision hit-and-run. Reporting party advised they never heard or seen anything. Reporting party stated the incident had to occur between the hours of 8:00 am and 11:00 am. That is when they discovered that they had damage to the left rear side of their vehicle.
