SIGNS OF INTERNET CHEATING If you notice your partner or spouse becoming very protective over their cell phone or laptop this could be a sign. Remember that some people are just private people so if they have always been like this, it may not be to worry about. It is the change in behavior you need to look out for. Switching of web pages, shutting down the laptop when you walk in the room are all signs to be wary of. If your partner or spouse will not add you on Facebook or Twitter, this is a big red flag! They should be happy for you to see their social networks if they have nothing to hide. Once again, just something to look out for. Your partner may just be being private if they are planning a surprise such as a party or a get away for you both so if you are going to accuse them of anything, check your facts thoroughly. If they suddenly jump on their phone or laptop when a message comes in and wish to respond immediately, this can also be a sign. This could of course just be normal innocent behavior if it is a text from a loved one or an important work matter so once again be careful before you go accusing them of anything. It is a bit ethically wrong but if you do suspect your partner you could check their internet history or phone records to see if there is anything that stands out there. This is really a last resort as it is very un-trusting and if your partner has nothing to hide and catches you snooping, they will not be happy. Changes in behavior to you are also a sign to look out for. Is your spouse or partner suddenly buying you gifts for no reason when they never used to. Are they being extra nice to the point where they could be feeling guilty about something? Finding that your partner has more than one phone without you knowing should raise a big red flag. On a lighter note, they may have more than one social account on Facebook or Twitter. Do they have dating profiles set up or are they using more than one email address. These are all things to also look out for.
