SIMPLE & EASY INDIAN-STYLE PIZZAS 30ml oil 350g beef mince ½ medium onion, chopped ½ medium tomato, chopped 10ml fresh ginger, chopped 2.5ml minced garlic 15ml medium curry powder 5ml turmeric 5ml ground cardamom coarse salt and pepper Method Heat the oil and brown the onion in the oil until golden. Add the mince and cook through. Then add the chopped tomato, ginger, garlic, curry powder, turmeric, cardamom and salt. Simmer until cooked through for about 15 minutes or until quite dry. Adjust seasoning. 4 Tortillas or Roti 125ml Tikka Masala sauce (bottled) 250m grated cheddar cheese beef curry mince Method Spread Tortilla or Roti with some Tikka Masala sauce. Top with grated cheddar. Drop spoonfuls of curry on the base. Preheat oven to 180°C. Bake for 10 minutes or until bubbling. Serves 8 By Sharon Glass
