SJP at UCLA would like to take this opportunity to thank all students from across the campus who have organized, shared, worked, and campaigned in support of the divestment resolution being brought to USAC Council tomorrow. We thank you for your tremendous efforts and ask for your forgiveness for any shortcomings or faults we may have had as we worked on this campaign throughout these past two months. We feel such pride and hope in seeing the wide solidarity of students from all backgrounds who see our investments in human rights violations against Palestinians as a situation of injustice that must be remedied, not just for Palestinians but as an issue for all people. While we cannot possibly know the outcome of tomorrows proceedings, we have hope that the Council will see the justness of our arguments and the breadth of support from across all sectors of campus, and will vote to support justice, equality, peace, and human rights. The remarkable efforts of students in support of divestment is also clear proof that support for Palestinian liberation is growing and will continue to grow in the coming months and years. We look forward to celebrating a more just university and to building on this campaign by supporting all other social justice causes on our campus. With love and solidarity, SJP at UCLA
