SKIN BLEACHED MODELS BANNED FROM RUNWAY: Models who bleached their skin were banned from the annual Dakar Fashion Week in Senegal. The founder of the fashion week, Ms. Adama Ndiaye stated that no model with bleached skin will be allowed to participate in the fashion shows because “It’s not even pretty, for me, it’s just a turn off.” It is estimated over 60% of Senegalese women bleach their skin.
