SLCo Sheriff Winder says ‘Highland Boy’ had 11,000 residents! wow! History can, will, and does get garbled up :) even by authorities :) Riverton dedicated a new UPD Station on Monday and the Sheriff talks about Bingham. Bingham history buffs know that Bingham Canyon in total reached 15,000 residents at her population peak in the 1920’s. They also know the law enforcement in Bingham was treated largely separate from the SLValley.
