SLINGSHOT: Facebook Takes Aim at Snapchat Mark Zuckerberg is not only relying on Facebook and Instagram to occupy time on your mobile phone. On Tuesday, his team introduced a new app called Slighshot that is designed to compete with Snapchat for the teen market. Like Snapchat, Slingshot allows you to instantly share a photo, short video or selfie with friends by slinging it to them. The catch is they cant view the image until they send something back to you.
