SLN Erudition of the day: Questioning Yourself in a right way to succeed. Be it developing power point presentation or a speech or solving a big business issue, people use questioning methods (when, where, what, why and how). During a conversation with a client about the pros and cons of this, we thought about why not minimize it further? After a discussion, we could see that asking why and how are the reasons for many GREAT things to happen. How has led to many inventions, say, from Idli (how did the first person who made idli know adding Rice & Urad dal can become a idli?) to the latest technological creations......Using How is important, Isnt it? Lets move on to why. Asking why at every move that one makes in the business is critical. Be it solving issues with the customers, finding solution to a high level technical problems or managing financial crisis, ask Why. This will help in long term decision making.
