Sadly this scenario is all too common - and a lesson for all of us. Ebby is 13 years old, blind and just a teeny tiny 3.5kg....and absolutely gorgeous! We are fairly sure Ebby was born with his eye deformity. When he arrived into our care he was skinny and undernourished with nasty, manky smelly skin. Sadly Ebby was a victim of neglect when his owner was no longer in a condition to care for him. Since being in care Ebby has been eating yummy, nutritious food with all the right ingredients to help his skin heal. He has had a day at the spa and our vet has told us he is remarkably healthy for an oldie...BUT, his eyes are a problem. They are weepy and prone to infection. Our vets have advised that Ebby’s eyes (which are completely without function) should be removed to keep him comfortable and clean. We need to raise $800 for Ebby’s eye surgery.
