SNAPPIEST SALUTE TO THE AIR COMPONENT/LEAD ELEMENTS OF THE 15TH STRIKE WING, PHILIPPINE AIR FORCE for a job well done in its offensive combat mission in Sulu today, November 1, 2014. A two-hour, two-wave, two-helicopter gunship attack on enemy lairs starting at 5:30 this morning and another wave of attacks at 4:30 this afternoon at Bud Langgal, Patikul sent more or less 60 ASG members led by Jamiri Jawhari scampering in all directions. The 15th Strike Wing is reinforcing the offensive operations of the 501st Brigade led by Col Alan Arrojado, Commander of Joint Task Group Sulu. PAO Spokesperson Lt Col Harold Cabunoc reports that ground troops led by Major Calendatas of the Philippine Marines are still conducting hot pursuit operations. Heavy exchange of fires is still raging as of press time.
