You need to realize that there is always much more at stake than a simple desire on your part to do something new or innovative. You need to see the big picture. Although God desires to USE you, He is much more interested in CHANGING you. In order for you to fulfill the vision that burns within you -- the word you’ve received from God -- He requires that alterations and changes are first made in YOU. That, my friend, is exactly what God is after in your life. He knows that you can only obey Him if you are willing to deal with your fears, your unbelief, and your selfishness. This is His prerequisite to your carrying out any dream He has placed in your heart: You must renew your mind to His way of thinking and His way of seeing things. You must be transformed by His Word. You must always keep in mind that your WORKS are not the only thing God is concerned about. He is just as concerned with your CHARACTER, your FAITH, and the condition of your SPIRIT. These are all aspects of your life that will last for eternity! God is more passionate about YOU and your willingness to yield yourself wholly to Him than He is about everything you might accomplish in this life.
