SOAP for Sunday, September 7 2 Corinthians Chapter 2 Scripture....2 Corinthians 2:17...We are not like so many others, who handle Gods message as if it were cheap merchandise: but because God has sent us, we speak with sincerity in his presence, as servants of Christ. Observation...God has left his word for us to read, learn, study, live by, and share. His words are life saving and important to share with others. What a privilege it is to be trusted by God to use His own words to save others and help them gain an eternal life with Him. Application....Sometimes we can find it a little awkward to share Gods words with others out of fear of ridicule or whatever reason. However, try to keep in mind what a privilege and a gift it is to be able to do just that. Prayer....Dear Lord in Heaven...thank you for giving us Your words to be able to share with others. Please give us the strength and courage to convey to others Your plans for all of us and your plan of salvation.
