******SOFTBALL PEEPS******** I just want everyone to know that certain board members at Joelton Community Club is pushing to drop USFA and go back to Dixie Youth softball........ I want you to understand that Dixie Youth softball will NOT prepare the girls for middle or high school softball and definitely not college because they play by USFA game play rules. Dixie Youth has different rules which will set the girls back and immediately put them at a disadvantage. Also, when you sign your girls up under Dixie, it places you under a contractural rule that you cannot take your child to play at another park without The Board agreeing to release you to play elsewhere....I know there have been comments made about not releasing some baseball players whos parents do not want, nor intend, on returning to Joelton (pure hateful spite). This is another attempt to control the parents and players who have played at this park, unfortunately, a good majority of Joelton residents that should call this park home will not return there because of the people running the park into the ground! Softball went from having about 10-12 of our own teams 3-4 years ago down to 5 teams this past spring (whats that tell you)??? And FYI....I sat on the board for a year so I know how they operate. Pass this on please! We need our park back!!!!!
