SOHNA DETAILS Sohna Road has emerged as a prime residential destination for end users and is currently registering a healthy demand. It is a good example of mixed-use development — a recipe for further growth and planned urbanization. IT parks, malls, residential apartments, villas, and the new residential projects under construction on both sides of this road make the area a sought after location among first time homebuyers and those looking for a property in resale. The availability of land parcels for further development and rapid commercial growth in the area have been the main factors that led to the growth of residential real estate along this stretch. Owing to its easy accessibility from NH-8, the Delhi airport, the Golf Course Extension Road, and other regions within the NCR, a number of infrastructure and real estate projects are being planned along the road till Sohna. However, with the scale of transaction in the region, it is likely that residential prices will appreciate in the near future.” Tata Housing is reported to be building luxurious villas at Sohna to take advantage. Most sectors in Gurgaon, which were allocated land through Master Plan-2025, have reached saturation point in the last six years. The prices have rocketed to beyond Rs 1 lakh per square yard in existing plotted colonies on Sohna Road. Thus, the developing area of Sohna is one option for people hunting for spacious plots. “The recently announced master plan for Sohna has provided a logical expansion to the Gurgaon real estate. The region is well connected to Gurgaon. Educational institutes like GD Goenka, KR Mangalam University, etc, are very beneficial to potential residents while the developing Ascendas SEZ is expected to bring corporate presence in the region.
