*** SOLDIER IS AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC ADOPTION TONIGHT *** A volunteer writes: A handsome pup in a glossy caramel coat, Soldier was so happy to be going out to take care of his business....and did so endlessly, peeing enough to raise the Hudson River by 5 inches. Yes, Id say hes probably housetrained! Hes compact in size but pulls hard on the leash so may benefit from a harness and/or some leash training. While he doesnt actively solicit attention, when I give it to him he has the most amazing wiggle butt - hes so happy for affection and kisses that the tail is wagging the dog. He leans in for petting, the tail going a mile a minute, and does a semi roll over for a belly rub but hasnt quite mastered the entire roll. Too cute! He takes treats gently and although playing ball wasnt his favorite activity of the moment (cuddling was), he retrieved the ball and let me take it right from his mouth. No guarding here folks! Soldier is a total sweetheart, medium energy, and simply looking for an affectionate family with whom he can cuddle and exchange kisses. If you could harness the energy in his adorable wiggle butt you could probably charge your cell phone for the day!!! Be sure to ask for Soldier when you visit and do it today. His time runs out at noon tomorrow. Act NOW.
