SOME IMPORTANT FACTS ( 1 year Old Yahoo Group Post) Special Notice : Demarge of SIF Yahoogroup from SIFF, Bangalore w.e.f 1/08/213 Dear All Members/Moderators, Since the group formed many people tried to make this “Free advice” group to a centralized group like for doing any activity you have to take permission from HO like style, to curb your freedom at your local level. ( You can go trough in old messages). To stop that way Back the SIFF was registered at Bangalore in name of Katti @ Bharti and Anil @ Gorky as Trust and also same time SFF was registered in Delhi as NGO mainly: The free Advice model should not be converted to Paid Service model like MEN cell. People should have freedom to form their own NGO at local level to run and success and failure to them , like do not put all eggs in one baskets. To get official permission for any activity/petition to Govt etc. All was going well , but after 3rd SIF conference in South where the SIF meet was tired to change SIFF, Bangalore meet and all program was filled up by Bangalore guys only, so many objected and then the same was corrected and all participate NGO allowed to get equally time and platform. This lead to some members of Bangalore left SIF with claim that SIF is old model , no growth etc , but the website they had not handed over to any moderators of SIF group Moderators. Now they came of with Confider model, we welcome, but request not to misuse the SIF weekly meetings directly or indirectly. It was assured that confider is a Company and along with membership fees advice they will do work like study/research/ corporate training etc. We also want the Confider model should get success by their own merit as a sustainable model, though Men cell not sustained inspite of they have strong back with Lawyers. Now last two years many members and some moderators shown their concern that SIFF had been used as conflict of interest, which never trust as I was full faith to them. But when I saw the e-mail send from SIFF website when a member joined, only a confider link had been directed , which I bring to notice to them and they promised such think will not be there and SIFF and confider model will not be mixed. But on filed or Practally the same not stopped. The Anil @Gorky came out with “SIF Core Principle No Free Lunch” theory, if members do not contribute by activity should not be entertained, which I objected, leave it to individual. My view : People contributed to movement to be advised properly the benefit they can get by examples , like your jail terms reduced, u get self confidence. If any old members got drain out to give free advice , he should handover the weekly meetings and help lines and full freedom to New guys like I have done for Delhi, let them run weekly meetings and they are doing much better Job than us. We are there to just guide them if they seek so, or it is their baby let them take care. But in return they said we do not have any right to stand what SIFF do and there are a lot of other allegations/counter allegation, some main gist as under. Moderator Wasif View : My take is....SIF was registered in Bangalore as an NGO way back to protect the brand and protect its misuse, especially fund collection by counselling fees in the name of SIF. Bangalore chapter has failed to protect it, diverting people from SIF through Confider website was the backstabbing of SIF free advice ideology. Moderator Rwitik View: Respecting everybodys contribution (and the respect they deserve), concerns in only 2: 1. Making SIF movement weekly meetings a breeding ground for Paid model NGOs. 2. Using of the movements database for pulling victims to paid model NGOs. And if SIFF is being used to claim OWNERSHIP of weekly meetings of a location, thats wrong. Every other location is a supporting ground for all victims irrespective of NGO names. Moderator Arnab View : I am not sure about other issues , but I would agree that Anil NEVER DID anything to stop/discourage Cubbon park meetings. I know him since 2008 and time and again he has expressed concern on why the numbers are falling and what we need to increase them. On the contrary there have been long and ardours debates of hundreds of hours between all of us on how numbers and attendance can be raised and what is not working and why more than 50 people are not attending. Confider Head Virag View: As far as SIFF and Confidare are concerned, you have no authority or locus standi to question it. As you have yourself said, every NGO is independent, so again you are depicting double standards. My Question was: Just one line answer and comittement: Are u going to kill Cubon park meeting or not? If yes, say honestly and if No there is no issue. U do whatever u feel without killing cubon park meeting and should not interfere there, let them die. When u have not able to stop people going to feminist group, proves your incapability of motivate people and stick with SIF basic principal, accept that first. You will keep on pointing fingers to every local group except Bangalore why> Every local groups in fight the common factor always u, why? Please review yourself also. I seek promise, though they can back out that you will not kill the Bangalore Cubon Park weekly meetings, but no clear comittement given with logic you do not have any right to interfere in SIFF, Bangalore, but as and when Gorky shown concern about Delhi, we address his concern several times. So, it had been decided, we will demarge from SIFF,Bangalore w.e.f from 1/08/213, because as a SIF moderator and members , we cook food, serve to people and SIFF should eat that is not good for movement. Whatever food we cooked till that let them enjoy, I am not in view like some moderators earlier ask me force Gorky to hand over website, as I Believe SIF members works for Free and do not seek any think in return. Let him enjoy the ownership of website , we will create alternate websites. Let them cook their own food and we SIF members know how to cook food and serve people and a sustainable model since 8 years. If you want to tell everyone about it, you are free to do so. You know, I am used to so much of abuse by so many loser members in SIF for such a long time. Today, I am in fact happy being abused by a talented high achiever Swarup. I can say something to you, Attachments and desires bring misery. And Rights come with a sense of ownership and responsibility If as SIF moderators we do not have any right rise our concern to SIFF, they also do not have any right to raise any concern to SIF movement. So, the below action taken as under @ Anil alise Gorky 1. You had been removed from SIF moderator. 2. Your all website address form SIF yahoo group i am removing. 3. You keep your SIFF NGO we will make alternate arrangement. So, as SIF members/moderators you have no right to SIFF, Bangalore and act accordingly. SIF is a movement and SIF weekly meetings where multiple NGO can participate, No weekly meetings are not only by SIFF NGO alone. savefamily.in website launched, another website saveindianfamily.in under process. Hope u all understand why we do not put all eggs in One baskets , if one person change stand whole movement die like happened earlier also. SIF is a sustain model, use the same as Training camp, make weekly meetings in your local area, form local NGO and stop the abuse of men. Moderator Arnab Last message: Every state chapter runs autonomously with local flavor , has its own teams for media , dharna etc and is a self sustaining unit . No body waits to get orders from HQ for doing something . So this will run just fine even now just like it did earlier. Please continue to do what you were doing . You are an independent self sustaining NGO fighting for the same cause. So you are not affected in any way. Hosting/removing a number/s on the website is also no big deal as each chapter is now pretty well known anyway . Both SIFF and SIF have individual credibilities locally and work pretty well .Both SIFF and SIF are both ranked pretty well in search engines so people will still find it.So removing numbers will not create a hindrance in people being able to find a NGO. Any reference in group of SIFF I had removed and will do so, regarding Bangalore help line numbers, let me know the same will continue or any new numbers to be added.
