SOME OF US NEED TO BE STRIPPED TO BE STRIPE... GET NAKED BEFORE THE LORD. Let God strip [you] of everything youve allowed [yourself] to be stripe with. LET GOD MAKE [you]... Yet, there will come a time when all humanity will stand naked before God. I like how Job put it. After losing everything he had including his children, his business, his employees [servants] and his possessions, he tore his robe, shaved his head, fell to the ground and worshiped God saying, “Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return there: the Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” Job 1:21 Job points out that there are two times we are all completely naked before God at our birth and at our death. Babies aren’t born with diapers on and the dead don’t take their clothes [or any other possession for that matter] with them into eternity. The apostle Paul confirms, “For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.” 1 Timothy 6:7. Or as the old saying goes, “You can’t take it with you.” We will one day stand before God and be held accountable for our life with nothing to hide behind. “And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” Hebrews 4:12 Jesus said, There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs. I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him. Luke 12:25
