SOME WORDS...SOME OF YOU WILL TAKE IT AS ADVICE & OTHERS MAY BE OFFENDED These few words I am about to write will no doubt seem harsh, but our Dīn is not a joke, and neither is the honour of a Muslim; man or woman for that matter. Brothers who spend most of their time on Facebook laughing and joking (well to be quite honest I should say flirting) with random sisters, some of them under the pretence of looking for a righteous wife, can only expect to find somebody similar to themselves. How does one expect to find a righteous Muslimah who obeys Allāh alone, when all they do is obey Shaytān by disobeying Allāh? The same goes for sisters who seem to be on Facebook looking for a husband. Have some respect for your own honour and dont advertise yourselves for a cheap price (and I dont mean literally). By Allāh your honour is worth far more than the enjoyment of some random guy online, even if you dont realise it yet. Constantly speaking about marital preferences and other issues similar to this with the opposite gender under the banner of there is no Hayā in (speaking about) the Dīn ya Akhi is NOT the way to find a righteous spouse who will be the one who helps you fulfil half your Dīn and help you attain Jannah. This is all without to even mention those who are married who spend their days online joking & flirting with strangers. I really do wonder what on earth their husbands or wives did to deserve such shameless spouses. If we spend the majority of the time sinning so shamelessly is it any wonder that these sins are preventing and holding us back from attaining any goodness in our lives? Many of us complain day and night about this problem and that problem; and no doubt when we find problems in our lives we should look to the sins we are committing and the obligations we are abandoning. If the seeds planted are rotten, we should never be surprised when a beautiful tree never grows. Abandon the Muharramāt dear brothers & sisters; Fear Allāh at all times & situations; He alone will find you a way out of your difficulty and provide that which is good for you (on this life & the next) from ways you could never have imagined. ومن يتق الله يجعل له مخرجا ويرزقه من حيث لا يحتسب
