SOMEBODY USED MY BIB and RAN WITH IT. I signed up this year for The Magnificent Mile Chicago Women’s Half Marathon & 5K. SIgned up for teh HALF MARATHOn. But I had to back out from the race since I injured my back JUNE 30. I emailed them and told them about my medical condition. They told me that they will need a copy of my MEDICAL RECORDS as proof so I MIGHT GET a refund which I snail mailed it to them 2nd week of JULY. Tried to follow up with them thru email, no response.. Went to packet pick up since i got my confirmation email. I lined up with Francis only to find out that i had to see the one in-charge at the expo. She handed me the packet with my free Shirt BUT IT HAD NO BIB in it. I asked her, where is my bib? She said, You were not running correct? I said, Im not coz I cant. But I havent received any email that they will give me a refund. She said, Wait a week after the race, somebody will contact you SEPTEMBER rolled in.. OCTOBER rolled in.. NO EMAIL, WENT TO ATHLINKS (website where it gathers all your race records and put it under one name). It showed I ran the CHICAGO WOMENS HALF! My friends can attest I WAS NOT THERE adn was pretty bummed out because I was looking forward to run this race with my girl friends. TAKE NOTE.. BIB NO on COnfirmation email : 1322 RESULTS: BIB #1322 IT HAD MY NAME, same as MY AGE AND THE CITY WHERE I LIVE. so WHERE IS MY REFUND MAGMILE CHICAGO WOMENs? DID YOU JUST MADE SOMEBODY RUN WITH MY BIB ??? WITH MY NAME ON IT??? SPREAD TO ALL RUNNERS!!!! and TRIATHLETES!
