Edwin Clarks call for the suspension of political structure in the states effected by the State Of Emergency is a calculated plan to blackmail the stakeholders into support the extension of the SEO as proposed by the President. We must collectively resist such an indecent political proposal coming from those of us that have no idea of what we are passing through. My reason is that, the region has suffered serious set back due to the lingering insecurity crisis, people are not doing their usual businesses, no farming activities, not even Government projects are properly executed in those states, therefore, political activities remain the only seasonal means where people are earning their living. On this note, suspension of political structure in those states will automatically suffocate the citizens. As such, economic crisis will give birth to serious anarchy. It obvious that if such situation was to be that of Elder Clarks region, he will be in the forefront to condemn it outrightly. Instead, we implore the elder Statesman to call on Mr. President to stop the extension of the SEO in those states. We all agree that the SOE is not working, because, it has not work for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd, what seemed to be working is the citizens solutions. On a final note, we are calling on all and sundry to kindly say no to the extension of the SOE in the affected states. Let the Government empower the Mobile Police with enough teargas and same ammunitions. Let us encourage the local vigilante groups to complement the work of the Mobile Policemen. ONLY IF OUR SENATORS, REPS MEMBERS AND STATE ASSEMBLIES WILL STAND BY THE PEOPLES WISH, THE BLOOD OF INNOCENT MAY NOT FLOOD OUR STREETS.
