I got this comment this morning on me posting my blog post last night on giving up on the grocery store, I wish youd give up on killing wild animals. To which we responded, We prefer to eat meat, so we do the best we can and bow hunt only, take only what we need and nothing more, and use every part of the animal so that nothing is wasted. We feel that is the best we can do, and are sorry you dont agree. (Ah, and also - thats with a long bow the forager made, not a crossbow or a compound bow.) We share information with yall (even though FB hides most of it and we arent sure who it reaches) because it was so hard for us to find information when we got started. We dont judge anyone else for making the decisions they want to make about the food they want to eat - so why do we get comments about how we are choosing to live and eat? We try to share our opinions, but not tell others what to do-a person has to find that on their own. Live and let live, eat and let eat - in the way they so choose!
