And taking hold of that truth can have an immediate and unbelievable impact on your life. There’s no quicker way to develop an unquenchable appetite for knowing and serving God than by facing the truth about the rapture that waits on the horizon of human history. In the light of this message these question runs through our mind: • What will the rapture be like? • How can you know Christ still intends to come back after all these years? • When is the Lord coming? Has He not delayed? • What happens to believing family and friends who have already died? • What is the Day of the Lord, and will Christians suffer its horrible destruction? This message seeks to show that since the Rapture could take place at any time, we need to be ready, by knowing that we have trusted Christ as Savior, and by living holy and godly lives. The Rapture of the Church will be the most startling event to happen in all of human history. Millions will disappear in the twinkling of an eye. Will you also fly away? CAUTION: This is a privilege accorded to all that’s willing to be part of this great event, through Genuine Repentance, Daily Righteousness, Earnest Readiness…….. Conclusion: D.L Moody taught a Bible study once on the west coast using the text, Matt. 6:19-20.(Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal): He then got a blackboard and put two list on it. One was our earthly treasures and the other our Heavenly treasures. Under earthly treasures, he put jewels, land, money, houses, fame, pleasures, clothes, and power. Under the Heavenly treasures, he put Jesus, friends of Christ, angels, Crowns, mansions, new songs, tree of life, purity, river of life. As the class compared them, the earthly treasures seemed mighty small, for what is world full of it treasures compared to to Heaven and Christ. When the rapture trumpet sounds, will you hear it and fly away with Christ to Heaven? If not, you need to get some spiritual ears today and be saved by Jesus. REMEMBER!!!!
