SOOO…. whats up doc?? Bugs Bunnys favorite liner!! Ha! Last night I sang for the Allen West event in Montrose, CO. and I want to share some of the experience with you today. The gentler part of the event…. Tomorrow, brace yourselves, I will share the goodies I gleamed from listening to Mr. West!! ;-) The turn out was wonderful and the meal was outstanding…..folks arrived in good humor with high expectations… Their expectations WERE MET!! Allen West came to the event early and stood in the lobby to meet and visit with folks. He is a patriot who has put his fanny on the line for America in combat and in the political field. Yeah, hes not perfect, but WHO IS?? He was very down to earth, genuinely friendly and considerate. He took time to listen to us commoners, because we are the butter on the govts bread and he KNOWS IT!! He has lived a normal life, not always been a celebrity, but has worked to improve himself and his lifestyle. My first song TAkin BAck Our Country, was well received. Mr. West put his utensils down and turned away from his meal to listen intently to the lyrics of the song. Most people dont show that high consideration for others, but he did!! It didnt go unnoticed, Mr. West!! THANK YOU! During the question and answer period, a female vet stood and expressed facts of lack of care she is receiving from the VA Hospital in GJ, CO.!! They are installing a solar panel contraption in the parking lot of the hospital……to the tune of several million dollars, yet her mental counseling has been cut from once a month to once a YEAR!! Yet, we can install solar panels??????? Mr. West took pencil to paper, gathered her info and promised she will appear on FOX NEWS in a week!! He is very open to real life crisis and takes the time to do something about it….THAT IS A RARITY THESE DAYS!! So, what makes this man special in my eyes?? He carries a copy of our Constitution in his jacket pocket, but MOST OF ALL…..he loves his Country and……LOVES OUR LORD!! He is a willing servant of God and it shows!! The gentleness of Jesus, the wit of Don Knotts and the determination of a mother bear!!! Wouldnt you LOVE to be raised by such a man?? He is a veteran and yet he still serves our nation! Shouldnt our President be REQUIRED to serve in ACTIVE DUTY before being eligible to run for the highest office on earth?? If we looked more for QUALITY in our representatives, ya think it would upgrade our govt as a whole?? The room was FULL of patriots, concerned about our nation and the brotherhood was a shining beacon everyone there!! The expressions on the faces, the applause, the seriousness of banning together to offset the corruption, was WONDERFUL to see! Kindness, devotion to God and Country and overlooking our differences, is what was soooo RICH about the event. God has His people on the march and we mean business!! Please pray for America and those of us who are on the front lines of the battle!! I know my life is being personally attacked and the lives of other patriots, as well! Uplift us in your prayers and be willing to replace us, should we fall! Blessings, ME
