SOUTH SUDAN INDEPENDENCE DECLARATION Dear countrymen/women, it is about time to revisit the speech of declaration of indepdendent of South Sudan read by then the speaker of the House Hon RT James Wani Igga. One would wonder whether the leadership of South Sudan is commited this document, on 9 July 2011, whenJames Wani Igga read out the independence declaration speech it brought hope, sense of unity, and many young south Sudanese thought they now have hope to build their lives in newer country, but with what is happening in the county since South Sudan obtained her independence under the leadership Gen. Salva Kiir, hopes for better lives were buried in the ash. Justice, freedom, liberty and prosperity promised to all south Sudanese nearly in this document three years on cannot be realize under Kiirs leadership. Our aspiration to build viable, domorcatic stable South Sudan with vast available natural minerals have all ended up into the pockets of corrupt official as South Sudan has embraced itself corruption scandals, violence, oppression, extortion, and repression. Today the fact that the declaration of our independence has not materialized to anything rather than breeding of new civil war is a result of failed leadership of Kiir. And this is clearly fact that South Sudan will never become domocratic country as it appears in our declaration of independence document.
