SPARKED with confusion... So many people everywhere I go and in my salon seem to be all about this Spark Energy Drink. They all talk about how wonderful and healthy all of these products are from AdvoCare. Im not interested in MLMs so I avoid them and their products for reasons just like this... My story, I referred a friend to the gym where I go and workout, so in return the gym created a gift package for me. On Monday when I open the gift package I was interested to see that there was a package of spark energy drink. I would have never purchased this on my own but since it was given to me free I thought Ill give it a try and see what all the rage is about. I poured it into my water stirred it up and on the very first sip I was very aware that there was artificial sugar in it. So I picked up the package and begin to read the ingredients I was shocked. First off it clearly states it is not safe for nursing women that alone should be a red flag.This is a very dangerous concoction and I cant believe that people are drinking this with the high levels of caffeine and choline, way higher than the recommended daily dosage that are considered safe (please read my comment below). Shame on AdvoCare for passing this off as something healthy it is not only not healthy but with the level of choline found in one package of this drink it is dangerous. Its known to cause cancer in women at these levels with just 1 package, and the package says you can have three packs a day. Shame on AdvoCare I would not buy any of their products after reading the label on this energy drink. After doing some research I poured it down the drain. Buyer beware pass it on.
