SPC Russell Simeon Brancheau III Hero Welcome Home! Please Mark your calendars for another MFMC Hero Homecoming. We will be honoring one of Monroe Counties own on Saturday November 1st at 3pm. There will be a procession from Elm Ave. to Jones Ave. on Monroe St. Please be at St. Mary’s Park no later than 2:30pm. if you want to participate in the procession. MFMC members will gather in front of River Raisin Center of the Arts at 2:45pm. Please join us in lining Monroe St. and don’t forget to bring your flags! Please join us after the parade at the Monroe VFW Post 1138 at 400 Jones Ave for a reception to honor PFC Brancheau! A HUGE thank you to Michigan Bikers Helping Veterans, American Legion, Axemen Firefighters M/C Detroit and Abate Riders. As well as several Monroe County Fire Departments. A special thank you to Vicki Baker and Sandy Vandevelde Lindquist and our Leader of the Pack, Wayne Blank! Bio of SPC Russell Simeon Brancheau III- SPC Russell Simeon Brancheau III graduated from Mason High School in May of 2011. He joined the Army January 10, 2012. He serves with the 1st Military Information Support Battalion (Airborne) or 1st MISBC (A) He is a 91B wheeled vehicle mechanic. He is based out of Fort Bragg in N. Carolina. He deployed to Afghanistan early May and returned back to the US end of September 2014. He is married to Breanna (Krieger) Brancheau and has a daughter Aarynn. He is the son of Russell Brancheau Jr. of Erie and Carrie McMillian of Monroe.
