SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT ON EBOLA DISEASE The general public is hereby notified about the dangers of Ebola Viral Disease and the need to take necessary precaution against the disease. Ebola can be transmitted to man through animals both living and dead Objects contaminated by infected person. This disease is capable of rapid spread and can result into an epidemic if adequate precautions are not taken. Ebola can be spread through the following: I. Blood and other body fluids. II. Objects that have had contact with infected persons III. Contact with infected persons or their dead bodies. The symptoms include: i. Fever ii. Headache iii. Muscle pain iv. Sore throat v. Nausea vi. Vomiting vii. Diarrhea viii. General body rashes ix. Weakness and exhaustion x. Dizziness xi. Bleeding from any part of the body If you have any of the above mentioned symptoms kindly report to the nearest health facility. You can protect yourself against Ebola disease by doing the following: i. Regular hand washing with soap and clean water. ii. Avoid consumption of bush meat. iii.
