SPEND TIME TO READ THIS ARTICLE MAN AND THE WILL OF GOD. WHO IS MAN? Man is the agreement of God’s trinity (Gen. 1:26; “And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness…”paraphrase) Man is the replica of God (Gen. 1:27; “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created him…” paraphrase) Man is the word of God (Jn 1:14; “And the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…” paraphrase) Now that we know who man is and his class of belonging! WHAT IS THE WILL OF GOD CONCERNING MAN ON EARTH? EXPECTATION FROM MAN IS THE WILL OF GOD: God expects man to be in line with his agenda; this is the will of God. God expects man to be a custodian of his heart. Mark 7:21 says (”…out of the heart of men, proceed evil...” paraphrase). Satan attacks nothing and no part of a Man’s body except his heart; that is the mind. 2Corith.11:3 state this while; (But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.) This portion reveals this because; God knows that Satan can only win or lure a man through his heart that is the mind. Gen3:4, Satan told Eve that she will not die if Eve eats the forbidden fruit. Satan did this by attacking, the mind of Eve; not anything. Of course you know that Eve wore nothing at the scene. Then if Satan wins a man’s heart, what happens? The Gospel is hidden! 2Corith.4:3-4; “But if our gospel be hid, it is to them that are lost: in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” This shows what happens to such man that is lost! Therefore man should be 2-4-7-9 hours of the day, beware of Satan’s devices. 2corith2:11; “lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his device.” The word ‘ignorance’ connotes negligence of information. Paul said in Act17:23 that; it was ignorant that prompt them (to them that Paul was preaching to) to worship unknown god. So beware of Satan, he is a man like you; the only difference is that, he is diabolic and crafty full of wickedness. Note he was created just like you. (Eze 28:15 makes it clear: “Thou was perfect in thy ways from the day thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee”). He messed up and was cast down from Heaven. (Luke 10:18 “And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall Heaven”). It my duty and your duty…to keep casting out Satan from our minds, every second! God has many plans for you as a man (individual person); (Jere 29:11) Jeremiah states this but, you must stick to God’s instruction follows. This is the only way to embrace God’s will for (you); the man. ‘Man’, ye or ‘you’ in the Bible refers to male and female (Gen. 1:27; “God created male and female…” Paraphrase.) So God instruction is for everybody, not specifically to man alone as a gender to stick to his instructions. GOD’S WILL FOR MAN IS TO RECEIVE THE GIFT OF CHRIST. What are these gifts of Christ? (Isaiah 9:6”… for unto us a child is born; unto us a son is given…”paraphrase.”The word son, is a grown person that can handle and face any thing; a mature mind. Jn 3:16”…for God so love the world that he gave his begotten son…” paraphrase). Son (mature human being) is given to us for the follow: • For us to have everlasting life (Zoe); life to its completeness. Jn. 3:16, that is to be saved from destruction. • Dominion; Gen. 1:26; God’s will for man is to have dominion over everything; all things including Satan because, Satan is no longer classified among human race. Therefore man is entitled to having dominion over Satan (luke10:19-20 says; “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in Heaven”). Power here connotes dominion. (Gen 1:26 says: “And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over creeping thing that creepth the earth”). Each time a Serpent is mentioned in the Bible apart from that of Moses, it refers to Satan. (Rev12:3, 7-9; Gen3:1, 4, 15). He has no place of abode (Job1:7…”Satan answered the Lord, and said, from going ‘to and fro’ in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.”…paraphrase). So we now understand that Satan is an animal wandering about in every place. • Finally, God’s will for man; that is the reason of given his son, is for us to prosper in all things: spiritual things, physical things and material things. (3Jn2; “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”) ‘All things’ means: physical prosperity (health) and material prosperity (wealth). ‘Soul’ means……………spiritual prosperity. HOW CAN A MAN MEET WITH THE EXPECTATION OF GOD’S WILL? • You must be born again ……………..Jn 3:3; 5-8; 11-21 • You must believe in Jesus’ name……Mark16:17-18 • And also the Holy Spirit ………………Jn 4:23-24). Now let’s access the following: these three tiers in respect to the will of God. First you must be born again: To be born again what does this mean? • Jn 3:3, 5 explains that it means, recreating your mind. Man was first created out of dust (Gen2:7…”And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostril the breath of life; and Man became a living.” ); now God needs you to be created from water and Holy Spirit which is the spirit of God.( Jn3:5…”Jesus answered, very, very, very, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into kingdom of God.” • Those that deal with God deal through his spirit…..Jn 4:23-24. • Walk in the spirit…………Gal. 5:1, 4, 16. • Don’t claim righteous accept righteousness ….Titus 3:3-5 • Bring out the best in you ……James 1:18. • Abides in God’s word………1Peter 1:23. • The news you receive, determine the way you are going…Rom12:2. “Don’t be controlled by the worldly news but be transformed by the words of God.” (Paraphrase mine.) • Avoid sin………………………1 Jn 3:9; Rom6:23. • Know the companies you keep….…Matt12:35; Luke12:1; Ph. 3:2-3. • Give no place to the Devil….Eph4:27; (2Corith2:10-11 says”…, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; lest Satan should get an advantage of us…” (Paraphrase). Jn4:7 says “…resist the Devil, and he will flee from you” (paraphrase.) Secondly believe in the name of Jesus Christ. • believe that God sent Jesus Christ………………………..Jn 5:24 • ask anything in Jesus’ name…………………………..Jn 14:13-14 • believe Jesus’ name and you will be saved………….Act 16:31 • ask in Jesus’ name, all things……………………………….Jn 16:23 • Jesus’ name is above every name....................…...Ph. 2:9-11 • do everything in Jesus’ name……………………………....Col. 3:17 • And these sign hall follow them that believe …..Mark16:17-18 Why do you have to believe in the name of Jesus Christ (Is 9:6): You have to believe because Jesus Christ was sent to you as the following: • Wonderful counselor [Jn 3:2(rabbi), Matt. 7:28-29, Mark 4:1-2, Luke 2:40; 46-47, Luke 21:37] • Mighty God (Luke 19:49, Ps 50:1, Is 96, 19:21, Jere. 32:18) • Everlasting father ( 1Tim1:17, Ps10:16, Jere10:10, Dan4:34, 6:26) • Prince of peace (Lev. 26:6, I King 20:19 Pro 16:7, Jere. 14:13) Finally, you must believe in the Holy Spirit. Jn 14:16(“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.” & 26 says “But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will end in my name, he shall teach all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatever I have said unto you.”) Jn 15:26 said the same thing. The will of God is for you to be constantly be in terms with the Holy Spirit which is the spirit of God (Rom8:8 “…they that are in the flesh cannot please God…”(paraphrase). Verses 10-12 add more to this). Friends the below mentioned personalities; these are the three things that bear witness with in Heaven (1 Jn 5:7 ”…For there are three that bear record in Heaven. The father, the word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”) What the Holy Spirit will do for you: • He will teach you …………1 Cor. 2:13, Jn 14:26 • He will guide you……………………………..Is 11:2 • He will direct you…………………………....Is48:17 • He will protect you………………………….Is 60:1-2; Rev12:13-14 • He will show you the future…….Luke 2:26; Act. 21:11; 1Cor2:10 • He will make you…………………………………..Rom 8:11 • He will empower you……………………………..Is. 60:11 • He will give you liberty……………………...2Corinth. 3:17 • He will give you comfort……………..Luke 4:18; Jn 14:16 • He will give you wisdom…Is.11:12; 40:13, 43; 1Cor3:19; 1Cori2:14 For man to know about these three personalities of God in his trinity, he must search for divine knowledge (Hosea 4:6…”My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children”); this knowledge is not free, you must study. (Rom 12:2, Is 34:16, Is 33:6, 2 Tim 2:15-16 “…study to show yourself appoved…”(paraphrase mine) Joshua 1:8 “…the instructions taken shall not depart from your mouth; meditate on it and observe to do the same and this will make your ways prosperous…”( paraphrase) mine. Colo3:16 “…let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom…”( paraphrase). Man must know that spiritual things can only be revealed to spiritual men (Rom 8:5-11; I Cor. 2:10-16. Emphasis is verse10b, verse12). • Also Prayer…… (Eph6:16-18. Emphasis I on verse 18). Prayer is the ultimate. Pray and also pray in the HolyGhost. (Jude1:20 But ye (you) beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the HolyGhost). We are so focused in money. Money is good, and wisdom that produces the genuine money is also a defense. Eccl7:12 “…Money is a defense…’’(paraphrase); from the scripture but, when you are loosed to money. 1Tim6:10 says “…it leads to destruction…’’(paraphrase); still from the scripture. To avoid destruction let us do the originally assignment which is the circulation of the good news, the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Go into the world and spread the Gospel. It is Man and Woman assignment. Gala3:28 says “…there is neither Man nor Woman in God’s Kingdom…”(paraphrase). Matt28:18-20, Mark16:15-17 both say “… go into the world and preach the Gospel…’’(paraphrase). No specific gender was stated. The above assessed platform is the expectations of God from Man; and his will for man on Earth will be good relationship. Jere29:11-12 declares.
