SPIRIT OF PRAISE DEPENDING ON GOD: Your goodness is so great! You have stored up great blessings for those who honor you. You have done so much for those who come to you for protection, blessing them before a watchful world. You hide them in the shelter of your presents safe from thoughts who conspire against them. Psalm31:19, 20. TRUST IN GOD: Day by day the Lord takes care of the innocent, and they will receive a reward that lasts forever. The steps of the Godly are directed by the Lord. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble they will not fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand. Psalms37:18, 23, 24. WISDOMS WORD The Lord directs our steps, so why try to understand everything along the way? Proverbs 20:24. PRAISE OF FAITH Then Jesus left Galilee and went north to the region of Tyre and Sidon. A gentle women who lived there came to him, pleading. “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! For my daughter is possessed by a demon that torments her severely.” But Jesus gave her no reply, not even a word. Then his disciples urged him to send her away. “Tell her to go away.” They said. “She is bothering us with all her begging.” Then Jesus said to the women. “I was sent only to help God’s lost sheep—for the people of Israel.” But she came and worshiped him, pleading again, “Lord, help me!” Jesus responded. “It isn’t right to take food away from the children and throw it to the dogs.” She replied, “That’s true, Lord, but even dogs are allowed to eat scraps that fall beneath their masters table.” “Dear women,” Jesus said to her, “your faith is great. Your request is granted.” And her daughter was instantly healed. Matthew 15:21-28. Take his hand: This gesture of faith is so simple and yet there are those out there that won’t take his hand. I pray for everyone to take his hand. Amen.
