SPIRIT OF PRAISE I love you Lord, you are my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my Savior; my God is my rock in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the strength of my salvation, and my stronghold. I call on the Lord who is worthy of praise, for he saves me from my enemies. Psalm 18:1-3. To the faithful you show yourself faithful; to those with integrity you show integrity. To the pure you show yourself pure, but to the wicked you show yourself hostile. You rescue those who are humble, but you humiliate the proud. Lord you have brought light to my life; my God you light up my darkness. In your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall. Psalm 18:25-29. Blessed is you name Lord! The Anchor holds on the stormy sea! Thank you for the strength of your love. May we ever remain humble in our walk with you!!! WISDOM SPEAKS Those who lead good people along an evil path will fall into their own trap, but the honest will inherit good things. Rich people my think they are wise, but a poor person with discernment can see right through them. When the godly succeed everyone is glad, when the wicked take charge people go into hiding. Proverbs 28:10-12. PRAISE OF FAITH 10 But those who depend on the law to make them right with God are under his curse, for the Scriptures say, “Cursed is everyone who does not observe and obey all the commands that are written in God’s Book of the Law.” 11 So it is clear that no one can be made right with God by trying to keep the law. For the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.” 12 This way of faith is very different from the way of law, which says, “It is through obeying the law that a person has life.”13 But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” 14 Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:10-14.
