SPIRITUAL DAILY DIGEST SUNDAY 10TH NOVEMBER 2013 COME TOGETHER (HEBREWS 10:3-30) Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is, but exhorting one an other and so much the more as ye see the day ap proaching v.25 It is not everyone in church that is a true child of God, Job 1:6 reveals that when the Sons of God came to His presence, satan was in their midst. However, every true Christian must come together in one accord to worship God. We must assemble to study and meditate on the word of God, edify one another spiritually, that we can grow in the wisdom and knowledge of God. Acts 2:42 “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. The coming together of Christians must fulfill the purpose of God; else it becomes an ordinary gathering. Our ability to stand firm usually depends on the words of encouragement and prayers of others. It is disturbing but not surprising that many are wrongly utilizing the church for ungodly purposes, so we must exhibit great care in making a choice. The primary purpose of the church is to prepare us for the return of Christ; this is the major reason for us coming together, we must not lose track of it. As you appear before the presence of God today rekindle the essence, exhort those that are weak in faith and avoid every satanic distractions. You are blessed in Jesus name. Prayer Point:- Lord, count me among the saints that will worship you in eternity. Amen. Food for thought! But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin” 1 John 2:7
