SPIRITUAL GIFTS AND YOU: All that come to Christ and trust and obey him are given the Holy Spirit. I will not dwell on the indwelling of the Holy spirit, as I have taught on that, many times. I will share with you the gifts of the Holy Spirit and I want you to determine if you are manifesting YOUR gift or gifts to the world, for the edification of the body of Christ and to display the sovereign love of our Lord, through these precious gifts that maintain and each us daily. Yes the gifts keep us daily through our daily use of our divine gifts from God-Almighty. In 1st Corinthians 12:8-10 shows us the gifts of wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophesy (teaching), discerning of spirits, speaking in tongues. and the interpretation of tongues. Paul shows that these gifts are equally valid, but not equally valuable. The relative value is determined by their worth to the church. In dealing with this matter he uses the analogy of the human body, in which all members have their due function,, but some are less important than others (See 1st Corinthians 12: 12-26). The service of each Christian is to be in proportion to the gift which he possesses. The gifts of the spirit are not to be given on given occasions, but daily or even hourly as per the direction of the Spirit. If you are a justified, sanctified member of the Body of Christ....You should have had the manifestation of your gifts toward you well know by now. If not, ask your God through Christ Jesus, to show you, this day in earnest prayer. To utilize your gift is strengthening your spiritual life as weight lifting is you your physical body. Spiritual diligence in edifying your gifts are rewarded with peace, love and joy in your, heart mind and soul.
