Activities include recognising and tracing upper case and lower case letters; long and short vowels; rhyming words; and blending sounds together to form words. One excellent aspect of this app is that there is no guesswork � words, sounds and pictures can always be tapped upon to find out exactly what they are before making game choices. The child needs to work through the early sections of letter recognition and must build up a substantial sight word vocabulary before attempting the sections such as blending and long/short vowels. This app has no IAPs or advertisements. I highly recommend this app for beginning and emerging readers as well as for special education settings.
