***SPOT SURE COULD USE SOME HELP TONIGHT!! PLEASE SHARE HIM FOR A FOSTER/ADOPTER & RESCUE!*** A volunteer writes: Its sort of hard not to fall for Spot at first sight. He is young, not very big ...and that single eyebrow!! When I first approached his cage, he tried to become one with the wall. After some time and treats Spot eventually came out with me. He was still hesitant and tail-tucked, but at my side and often looking up to me. He relieved himself right away and may have some housetraining. I sat in a doorstep and Spot joined me without hesitation. He seems comforted by pets on his chest and behind his ears. Whenever a loud school bus passes by, or someone stops to give him a compliment, though, Spot tries to hide behind me. We continued our walk (tail a little less tucked!) and when we pass by the same doorstep on our way back, Spot hops right up there as if its his new safe place. On our next walk Spot was waggy and even propped his paws on me to solicit some love!! He seems friendly and interested in the other dogs we passed. Spot is shy, but incredibly sweet! He finds so much comfort in a familiar face, I can only imagine how loving he will be in a home...please come meet him at the Brooklyn ACC!
