SPOTLIGHT: Michael Dexter...aka Dex... If you saw his recent performance in Les Miserables, you cannot wait to see his role as the Serpent.. in Eve Apart. Dex is an amazing talent and in an interview with him recently the words of a youth with great wisdom, connected with life! As we talked for hours, the emergence of what it is like to be an upcoming, and extremely talented artist; were revealed! When I perform.. Im in the moment. It just happens... I jump off the cliff I become the character and lose self at the top, and see you at the bottom ...(He is ALIVE with energy.) I dont remember what I do on stage.. I am just in the zone... I become the character...rehearsal is where I learn everything.. it is not social time; at some point we ALL have to come together and make great things out of chaos and confusion... exhausting or not! I could not go to audition.... I had recently lost my father, and when Tim Hinck asked you to do something with him.. there is nothing but jumping in with both feet. Taking the leap; knowing it will be great! It is a pleasure working with such a great new talent! Dex is an anchor for the whole crew. Ironically playing the serpent; with such a desire to share the truth. He is perfect for this role! He is an awesome man of Spirit, love, and God!
