SPRING BREAK UPDATE:: The crew is doing grand. After two days it feels like it has been 4 days. We arrived Sat evening and settled right in at the church in West Nashville. Sunday morning we helped serve the church breakfast and then traveled to the DreamCenter for the church service, where we will be on Wednesday to serve. We also helped with the second service and the single ladies ministry following service. Following that adventure we traveled and ate at a local place called Burger Up before travelling down to music row and Broadway in downtown Nashville. Following that, we came back to the church and had our conversations (devo) on Christ the Servant. Today (Monday) the crew is at Graceworks in Franklin, TN and serving in the donation area and floor area of the thrift store. Graceworks heart is in ministry with helping low income families of Williamson county with food, utilities, counseling and much more. The thrift store and boutique helps fund those overhead projects. We then will travel to downtown Franklin and visit the old town atmosphere and drive down Hillsboro rd to the church and study The Christian Servant for our conversation. Tomorrow (Tuesday) we will be at The Bridge Warehouse preparing us for the homeless outreach that evening and visit the Parthenon at night.
