Position Description & Responsibility * Nurture and grow the SQUAR community * Represent SQUAR by actively driving, growing and managing the community, building healthy relationships with community influencers * Locate and engage advocates within the community to foster dialogue & engagement * Travel to community events and represent SQUAR. * Create content to align messaging and drive conversation * Interacting with the coolest community of bloggers and commenters on the planet * Create and curate content to drive community growth and engagement. * Help execute community content strategy; contribute to SQUAR’s overall community strategy. * Drive engagement and evangelism with the broader community * track the trends of various communities and analyze the trends * Identify and engage with external interest groups and targeted communities * Proactively keep leadership informed of community issues and suggest solutions when challenges arise Position Requirement Skills and Knowledge * Actively participates in a wide variety of social media activities such as blogging, communities * Very high attention to detail. * Experience in engaging and activating community groups * Experience locating and engaging advocates within communities to foster dialogue Qualifications * Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/or related fields. * Flexibility and adaptability- comfortable with defining structure needed for a complex project when it does not exist * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Able to work with multiple priorities and tight schedules This position will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with key influencers, empowering and exciting brand evangelists, and building buzz among SQUAR fans and similar interest groups & communities. Additional responsibilities include developing exciting and innovative social media and community programs to drive awareness of the brand as well as monitoring and reporting on community activity. Working directly with our fanbase and influencers to create shared moments, you drive product adoption and engagement. You are in tune with the community and can identify and participate in community trends.
