SRTC UNIT FRAMED AND R. K. KALSOTRA FELICITATED JAMMU 24-01-2015: Today an impressive function was organized by J&K SRTC Employees Welfare Association in order to felicitate Sh. R. K. Kalsotra, State President of All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organizations on his superannuation from the bank services. The function was organized by the large number of employees of SRTC and other Organizations. The main dignitaries who participated in the felicitation function included Kamraj Kaila, Ch. Janak Raj, Rajinder Singh Sawhney, Sham Singh Chib, Comrade Surjit Singh, Hardeep Singh, Ajit Singh Adyal, M.R. Bangotra, Balkar Singh, KR Pondwal, Darshan Verma, Dilbagh Singh, Shakeel Ahmed and others. All the employees offered garlands and bouquet at the occasion and requested to intervene in order to solve the burning problems of the employees and the detonating condition of the SRTC Corporation due to negative attitude and policy of the Government. All the speakers of the SRTC Association, J&K Eco Care Taker Organization and All J&K Pensioners Association assured to support the Confederation President Sh. R. K. Kalsotra to strike every corner of the Government for the welfare and the improvement of the corporation (SRTC) under his leadership. While speaking, Sh. R. K. Kalsotra highlighted the importance of SRTC and strongly remarked SRTC as a vast source of employment and income generation sector for the state as well as the young generation in the near future. He emphasized his idea to frame a policy by the Government as per the leading states of the country in order to develop, modernize and strengthen the SRTC to gain popularity in the Tourist State like J&K. He highlighted the broad vision of the Corporation which has an infinite economic scope to expand its services at the level of intrastate, interstate Tourism Department, educational institution and Government Departments. The president Sh. Kalsotra also strongly stressed to take immediate steps for the welfare of the corporation employees in terms of their pending issues and facilities at par with other corporations of state and the country. Under the guidance and leadership of Sh. R. K. Kalsotra, the employees of SRTC unanimously elected Sh. Rajan Singh as President and Sh. Rajnesh Kotwal as General Secy. of the association in the presence of seniors and Ex. Leaders of the Association to project their pending demands and to approach the govt. to frame the policy for the improvement of the corporation. The newly elected President & General Secy. assured the employees of the association to expand the association body to tackle the problems of the employees.
