SSC reschedules CGL Exam 2014 on October 19 & 26 The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is all set to conduct re-examination the postponed Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2014 exam on October 19 & 26. The Commission had postponed this year’s Combined Graduate Level Examination— 2014, which was scheduled to be held on April 27 and May 4, citing Lok Sabha elections. Due to Lok Sabha election in the month of April- May the dates for the examination was further extended but according to a report from commission the exam was postponed and was again scheduled on April 27 and July 20. CGL Tier - 2 Examination on September 20 & 21: SSC will hold CGL- 2013 Tier - 2 Examination on September 20 & 21. The applicants who have qualified in Tier - I exam conducted on April 27 and July 20 will appear in Tier - 2 examination. The results for Tier - I exams will be declared soon. MTS - 2014 Paper - II exam on August 17 : The students who have qualified the first paper examination of MTS will have to appear in Second Paper exam to be conducted on August 17. The students can download their Admit Card/Hall Ticket from the official website of SSC by submitting their name, Fathers name and Date of Birth (DOB). The recruitment body will also conduct re-examination of Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE)—2013 at seven centres — Lucknow, Patna, Allahabad, Delhi, Jaipur, Shimla and Dehradun — after the elections. There had been reports of use of unfair means by candidates at these centres. The Combined Graduate Level Examination is conducted to select candidates for majority of Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts including assistants in central ministries, income tax and central excise inspectors, assistant enforcement officers, sub-inspectors in CBI and inspectors in Central Bureau of Narcotics.
