SSCF peeps…this post is being written on behalf of Laith Anderson and an upcoming adventure of his to Latvia. Laith did not ask us to do this, but we have such a great community, and Laith has been so good to us, that we wanted to share. You all know Laith as a talented craftsman (he has built the lifting platforms + racks, Abmat shelf, collar mount, 2 flat benches and the pull up bars gracing both bay doors in case you didnt know), master of smoked chicken at gym bbqs, giant amongst men and pretty much all-around stud. In addition to all this, he will soon be joining 10 men on a trip to Western Latvia to do work at a youth camp from the Baltic Pastoral Institute. Some of the men going are leaders and pastors who have been asked to come teach and train, while the others will be helping with construction and repair needs at the camp. In addition to their own money, Laith and his family are trying to raise $2,500-$3,000 to cover travel expenses. You can learn more about the camp, the leaders and the mission at bridgebuildersint/BPI.html or simply talk to Laith at the gym (he usually works out at 11a or noon). If you feel inclined to donate, checks can be made payable to: National Christian Foundation In the memo please write: The Bell Foundation of Hope Fund (6293790) We are a little late in posting this as Laith departs this Friday, May 16, but any help would be appreciated. Checks can be left in an envelope on desk in front room with Laiths name on front. Regardless if you donate, if you happen to see Laith this week before he departs please wish him the best and send him off in style!
