STATE OF NATURE: As 2015 general election is approaching the incessant attacks of Boko Haram is intensifying in a greater dimension which includes destruction of lives, properties, mass abduction and the annexation of Nigeria territory under the watch of the president Goodluck E.J may be the truth will emerge at last since the assumptions of many Nigerians that BH is a political dog hunting the entire North-East so to frustrates 2015 election which is believed that the opposition party (APC) waxing stronger in the region. I am finally believed that we are in ’’ State of Nature, A State of War; War of All Against All ‘’ this is a philosophical concept first developed by the English philosopher Thomas Hobbes (1588-1664) who coined that the state was emerged as a result of the social otherwise political contract between the weaker and stronger to have an unique or a strong political authority that would enforces rules in the society –Absolute Monarchy, (a King or Queen). Although, this hypothesis was critiqued by the subsequent scholars like JJ. Roseau and John Locke who are strongly liberal advocates of democracy otherwise called a representatives government. He however, categorized humans into 3 aspects: Brutish, Nasty, And Solitary Poor. Hobbes was raised during the English Civil War (England) in the 15th century and he was influenced by the then state of nature a state of war in which each and every man lives in a constant fear of violent killing, destruction and maimed by the fellow humans. To him, humans are self-interested and pleasure seekers therefore they could stage a war against one another this is not clearly different from what is obtainable in Nigeria current security challenges of BH, we are living in the state of nature. Don’t we? Indeed, we live in the state of uncertainty, confusion, and lawlessness; chaotic and stateless. Aren’t we? Such a questions always come into our minds when we hear a nasty story of BOKO haram how they terrorize people elsewhere, we are surprised and it is unbelievable how a true Muslim kills a fellow Muslim without a just course! We are still surprised that when we heard the news of the BH have overrun several villages in Borno state! And we heard our gallant soldiers fleeing the battlefield what is so surprise! No sooner our villages, cities and the capital itself in Yobe State were being terrorized by the insurgents some of which had been seized and controlled by BH and some unaffected communities are soft targets and we begin to fear that these boys, they will touch everywhere if they are leave unchallenged and unchecked their atrocities . Similarly, today, 21/12/2014 we witnessed attack in Geidam a border town between Nigeria and Niger Republic, an area of 185km Yobe capitol far north this caused a commotion and stampede in the neighboring communities like DPH& BYM etc., where people almost deserted the street, fleeing and force themselves to keep indoor for unknown circumstance. I couldn’t slept last night with a two eye closed. Boko haram which started its operation since 2009 had claimed a significant lives of innocent Nigeria in its nefarious act of terrorism. Its modus operandi was being tactically changed from the attacking a conventional security force to pounced down upon the schools, churches, mosques, markets usually by the suicide attacks. In the recent times, of its deadly operations BH killed thousands of students in a cold-blooded while they were sleeping in their dormitories. However, in its five years lethal onslaught against the federation of Nigeria the group has attracted an international condemnation after the mass abduction of Chibok’s school girls. This is the always headline published in our newspapers yet government maintaining that it is doing well enough to nip the terrorism in its bud but it defied all odds . furthermore, a thousands of naira has being expended on the war against terrorism particularly in the NE but it does not yields any positive results so far, because as the attacks on the villages and communities continues unceasingly, our soldiers upon which our territorial integrity fall on their shoulders to defend it, they are running the battlefront leaving the communities in the hands of dreaded groups this is due to the welfare of the soldiers in the warfront were not better off according to many beliefs that Nigerian army is not well-equipped and intelligence conscious in fact they were virtually demoralized that what led to their defeat by terrorists this however, generated a gigantic political controversies in which the president himself implicated in the ongoing military campaign against terrorists in the NE. Initially , He (the president Goodluck) and his political cohorts considered the terrorism as the political engineering created by opposition to frustrates his so-called government as though they are beclouded by the lethal activities of terrorism and they began to give a political colouration to the insurgency which enabled the group to gained a wider supports from the locals, underprivileged children, vagabonds and thugs and subsequently have wielded much capacity to launch attacks on any government-owned facilities and its personnel in order to weakens it. It is a matter of ideology formed and indoctrinated into the simple-minded and feeble-minded pupils (usually Almajiris) by a self-opinioned teachers who see western values as a sacrilege and therefore be forbidden and even subject to attack to change the status quo and replaced with the semi-literate’s opinions gathered from the unwanted Islamic political philosophy hence, most of the scriptures used by these teachers to justify their terrorism were uncensored materials collected from the then radical and conservatives Islamic scholars in the Islamic Golden Age. Using the poor socio-economic status of these pupils who worn a rag-tag clothes and walking barefooted whom are used to co-opted into the movement by solacing their hardship so as to incite hatred and becoming hostile to the members of the society whom they think are unmindful about their life this is done by repeatedly teaching the concepts of Quran and other prophetic scriptures based upon the misinterpretation and misrepresentation of the original works either altered by themselves or its antecedents). Nonetheless, terrorism in Nigeria it is unprecedented and an undoubtedly a foreign culture assimilated into our original culture, norms and values, it is neither Islamic nor western thought instigating terrorism rather what is unfortunate most of the deadly acts projected as an Islamic inspired killings. In essence, Islamic political thought considers state, power and authority as a product of the revelational guidance and thinking exercised by the Islamic thinkers in the mediaeval Islamic period and therefore the religion of Islam cannot be separated from the understanding of world affairs and it is not only confined to an abstract worship as other western philosophies assumed that God has no roles in human politics. In view of this little explanation we are true Muslim who believed in Allah the almighty, all the divine books, angels, prophets and the day of resurrection and judgment and we won’t be seduce by implausible teachings of the so-called scholars whose works besmirched Islam. Nigeria has already lost many lives, properties and integrity to the terrorism do something to save us Mr. President!!
