STEAK FACTORY NEW ALIPORE. It was my birthday and me and soh decided to have continental as she had never tried it before, i was having a hankering for meat and this helped my cause. At the outset it has to be mentioned that this place is small and if you are planning a party, not the ideal place for that, it may feel a bit cramped . The menu consists of classic steaks and platters, along with mock-tails, we ordered a Shirley temple and a Orange flake mocktail and a chicken tetrazzini along with a mutton chop, the drinks were nice albeit the shirley temple had a bit of a Ziiiiiiiing. The tetrazzini came piping hot and the mutton chop was with boiled veggies and french fries. In all honesty i didnt like the mutton chop as it was too spicy and overcooked, but the tetrazzini was yum having the right consistency of cheese, chicken and pasta , it was enough for two people. the dessert section had some nice things but after having the mutton chop i was not in a frame of mind to eat anything else. LOCATION- TAKE an auto from tollygunj phari to new alipore get down at the mps food hub walk straight , its on the left VERDICT - Bill for two with taxes came at 961, the decor is English old school , but u have to ask the owner to crank up the AC. Food is nice , can be visited.
