STEP-DOWN CONFERENCE ON THE FIRST WORLD CONGRESS ON INTEGRATION AND ISLAMICIZATION OF KNOWLEDGE Noting that 6 of its directors attended the First World Congress on Integration and Islamicization of Knowledge (FWCIIK) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, The International Institute of Islamic Thought (Nigeria Office) organized a One-Day Step-Down Conference in Kano wherein the six directors presented their papers to wide range of academic staff invited from a number of higher institutions of learning, several other papers selected from the (FWCIIK ) were also presented by some professors in the respective disciplines of the original writers. The aim was to cascade the (FWCIIK) to the level of our local setting thereby expanding the scope of benefits and fruits of the International Congress. Below is the picture of Dr. Sulaiman Abdullah Karwai, the Director of Training, making his presentation on, "Time Management from an Islamic Perspective". Seated and listening are Prof. Danjuma Abubakar Maiwada, Salisu Shehu, Engineer Bashir Adamu Aliyu,Chair, and Sheikh Ibrahim Khaleel. About 12 papers would be presented in the program.
