**STORM UPDATE FOR SUNDAY INTO MONDAY** The current situation with the forecast is this. The NAM is currently the only model that brings an organized and phased low pressure system further north over the Virginia. The more believable GFS and Euro keep the system unphased and further south as a weak open wave. At this point, I still believe a light to moderate snowfall will occur from the Washington/Baltimore/Philly area up to Central NJ and possibly NYC. There is less of a chance of snow further north than that. I will be watching the GFS and Euro come in this morning and afternoon. IF THESE MODELS TREND FURTHER NORHT....then heavier snows will be possible much further North…even into Upstate NY. It’s too early to know, but all areas (especially the DELMARVA areas) should be on alert. I am still expecting some severe weather over the lower Mississippi Valley, Georgia and into Northern and Central FL!!!
