STORM UPDATE: IF YOU THINK ITS BAD NOW, ITS ABOUT TO GET WORSE! I was expecting a late night tonight, as I intended watching this storm through its peak, but the way the lights are flickering here, I think Ill be in the dark pretty soon! So a quick update. Strongest winds are about to kick in within the next 30 mins or so. They will continue till about 5am, then die away very quickly. Winds currently reaching 64kph here, but I expect that they may reach 85kph+ by 3-4am. The rain should also stop around 4am, but theres lots to come before then. Good news is tomorrow will be a decent day with some good sunshine. I will continue updates (if I have electricity and broadband). Otherwise stay safe folks, especially to everyone travelling tonight.
