STORM UPDATE (the dog, not the weather, LOL): Surgeon has decided that in spite of the bone fragment in his elbow, Stormy appears to be healing (albeit slowly). He doesnt feel that he needs surgery at this time, and we have been given the clear to slowly begin training for dock diving again. In a couple of weeks, we are going to rent some pool time, and see how it goes. If, after his session, he is very lame or limping, we will go back and re-evaluate. Worst-case scenario: Storm will need surgery and be out for aprox 4 - 6 months. Best-Case Scenario: Bone fragment doesnt bother him, and he carries on as always. So for now, its a wait-and-see sort of game, we will try dock diving, watch him like a hawk, and hope for the best. I did learn that this place has a therapy pool and a water treadmill, which will also help in the event that he needs surgery. Storm is exhausted from his appointment, especially since he didnt have breakfast, and gave everyone the pitiful Im a starving lab face. I felt so bad, he got 2 cheeseburgers on the way home!!! :)
