** STRATEGY FOR JEE MAINS 2014 *** Here I am providing all students with some comprehensive points that you keep in mind while attempting the paper. 1. Always start with your strongest subject, this builds up your confidence level. 2. After getting the correct answer bubble the choice on OMR sheet side by side to avoid last minute hastle. 3. Remember that marks are given for correct answer, not for how many questions you attempted. So always attempt the question that you are 100% sure off. No guesses please. Attempting a mere 17 questions in each section with 90% accuracy will take your score to around 190. So, there is no point in attempting max question and going for negative numbers. 4. Always attempt the paper section wise. Dont move in between the sections, this will waste your time only. 5. Its advisable to allot 50 minutes to chemistry, 1hr to physics and 1hr10minsutes to mathematics. 6. If the question seems unfamiliar on the first read, read it once again with more concentration, if still its unfamiliar to you then its best to leave that question and move on the NEXT. 7. Avoid intensive calculation based questions during the start of the examination. 8. Do the rough work with pencil, so that in case you fall short of rough space you can rub it and start afresh. 9. Go into the examination hall with full confidence and motivation. Dont think of the questions during the last minute. Let the paper come and start with a bang.
