STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS LATER TODAY, TOMORROW, AND POSSIBLY WEDNESDAY Good morning everybody, as you can feel, the humidity is working its way back into our area, as warm humid air advects into Western Mass today ahead of a shortwave, that is ahead of a cold front out in the Great Lakes and pushing south and east. The atmosphere will destabilize enough today to allow for development of showers and thunderstorms. In fact, there is a strong line out to the west of Ithaca and Syracuse, NY already formed, and this weather will push our way into the afternoon and evening. Some of these storms could be come strong to severe, and the same holds true for tomorrow. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s today through Wednesday. Cooler air is expected to work in around Thursday, and if folks are going to the Green River Festival, the weekend is looking nice so far, especially Saturday.
