SUFFICIENCY - By Shaykh Muhammad Harun (1) In the darkness of my night You’re the one and only light In the doldrums of my day It is You, Who shows the way La ilaha illa_llah, La ilaha illa_llah Muhammad Rasulu_llah, ‘alayhi Salatu_llah You support me You suffice None but You is in my life – anta ‘awni, anta hasbi, ma li siwak (2) My deluge You are to me; My refuge You are to me; And You are the remedy to my every malady La ilaha illa_llah, La ilaha illa_llah Muhammad Rasulu_llah, ‘alayhi Salatu_llah You support me You suffice None but You is in my life – anta ‘awni, anta hasbi, ma li siwak (3) It is You, Who cause my pain; Cause my loss to be my gain. You’re much closer to me, than myself could ever be. La ilaha illa_llah, La ilaha illa_llah Muhammad Rasulu_llah, ‘alayhi Salatu_llah You support me You suffice None but You is in my life – anta ‘awni, anta hasbi, ma li siwak. (4) It’s Your love that makes me be; it is Your light that makes me see It’s your call that makes me hear, You are my now, You are my here.
